Wo are always on the look-out tor new records, and yet we Marlborough people have only to look amongst ourselves to find daily records of the most daring and beneficial naturerecords that are a direct and huge advantage to ourselves and to the public generally. We have only to inquire from any retailer to learn that we cannot purchase a pair ot genuine saddle-tweed, trousers under 12s 6d, and yet an enterprising local firm are selling them for 7s lid. They, are also selling men's summer weight cotton singlets for Is 6d; linen collars for 3d; harvest hats for Is 6d, and white tennis shirts for 4s 6d. These prices and qualities break any previous record made by this or any other firm in the district. We only have to inspect the goods of the Auckland Clothing and Drapery Company to be assured that they are the real record-breakers of the day. THE AUCKLAND CLOTHING AND DRAPERY COMPANY.
