RATES OF POSTAGE,

Registration—By prepayment of fr fee or 2d in addition to the full pootage any letter, newspaper, book, or other packet may be registered tdr any place in the world. Parcels can* not be registered beyond the colony except to UiS.A. > POST-CARDS. Inland.—Single, fd ; reply, leU All other places, single, Id ; reply, 2d Post-cards must be sent unclosed. Excepting stamps for prepayment and an address-label, nothing what* ever may be joined' or attached to # post-card for a place beyond the Colony. For deliveiy within the Colony receipt-stamps or slips of paper may be affixed tojp«st-cailds. Reply Cards.—Tie reply half of a! post-card received from any place oatside of the colony can be sent without extra charge only to the country i» which it originate! ; and must nave been received attached to the ooraatponding half. Each of the two halves must fulfil /the conditions laiii down for single past-cards ; one half is doubled over we other, and they? must not be closed up in any manatg whatsoever.
