MR VERRAN'S MINISTRY.
(Received June 3, 10.5 a.m.) ADELAIDE, June 3. Both Houses to-day, carried motions of condolence with the Royal FamilyThe moment this was disposed or Mr Verran, leader of the Labor Party, moved that the House adjourn. This was tantamount to a no-confidence motion, and was carried by 22 to 19. Mr Peake immediately resigned, and Mr Verran formed a Ministry. The ballot for portfolios resulted as follows: — • w i Premier and Minister for Works, Mr.Verrari. Treasurer and Minister for Lands, Mr Vauglrcm. Attorney-General and Minister for We Northern Territory, Mr Denny. Minister for Education, Mr Conybeer.
Secretary, Mr Wallis. Minister for Industry and Agriculture, Mr Wilson.
