FOUND DROWNED.
[press association.] GISBORNE, April 2. At the inquest on the body ot George Alfred O'Connor, foreman <>t the municipal sanitary works, who was drowned in the Waikanae Creek on Thursday night, and whose body was found clinging to a pile ot a narrow footbridge, a verdict of found drowned was returned. Probably the deceased slipped or had been blown off the bridg.'.
