WALKER—KEATING.
A wedding in which considerable interest was manifested took place today at St. Mary's Church. The oeremony was performed by the Very Rev. Father Holley, and the contracting parties were Winifred, youngest daughter of the late Mrs Keating, formerly of Weld Street, and Frank, son of the late Thomas Henry Walker, for many: years a resident of Blenheim. The bride was daintily attired in white charineuse trimmed with hand-made silk lace, a present from Mrs Clifford, of .Flaxbourne, and wore the usual veil ayd wreath of orange-blossoms, and also a pretty pearl and turquoise pendant, the gift of the bridegroom. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies and roses. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Kate Keating, and Miss Clifford, as bridesmaids. They wore white embroidered muslin dresses, with gold belts, large black silk hats trimmed with gold and yellow roses, and pearl brooches, the gift of the bridegroom, and carried bouquets < pt wild chrysanthemums. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr T. Keating, aiid the ,bridegroom was attended by Mr J. Murray as'best man. At the conclusion of the ceremony the wedding party repaired to St. Patrick's Hall, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was dispensed by Mrs P. Maker. The happy couple, who were the recipients of many valuable presents from friends in various parts of the Dominion, left by the afternoon train for Picton en route to Nelson, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's travelling dress was a brown and green tweed costume, faced with brown cloth, with hat of green straw trimmed with brown velvet and green osprey. ■ ,
