AUCKLAND, March 10. Samuel Lidster, barman in # the Warkworth Hotel, committed suicide. The body was found in the river. Its condition showed that the deceased had apparently attempted to cut his throat, and then jumped into the river. He "had been suffering from influenza, and had been under medical treatment for some time.
