SEDDON STOCK SALE.
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report holding their usual stock sale at Seddon last Wednesday when they offered 3000 sheep of all classes, cattle, horses and rams. There was a good attendance of buy«rs and all the Company's offering received attention, 2500 sheep from their pens changing hands. They -quote prices as under:— Ewes: Fat, 7s lid to 8s lOd; halflired, 4 and 6-tooth mixed, 12s sd; half-bred, 4 and 5 years, 10s to lls 2d; half bred, fresh full-mouth, 10s 5d I*> 10s 6d; halfbred, 2-tooth upwards, 7s; halfbred, full and failing, 6s to 7s; threequarter-bred, 2, 4, and 6tooth, mixed, 12s; aged, halfbreds, 4s sd; merinos, 2s to 3s sd. Wethers: Halfbred, 2 and 4-tooth mixed, 10s 3d.
Lambs: Halfbred ewes, woolly, 8s 3d; wethers, woolly, 8s; crossbi-xl wethers, woolly 6s Id. Cattle: Milker, due May, fourth calf, £5 ss ; heifers, 18 months, £2 15s •to £3 10s; yearlings, 35s to 37s 63.
