WOOL-COMBERS' STRIKE.

A TRADES UNION TROUBLE,

WORSTED INDUSTRY FACED WITH DISORGANISATION.

[press association.] (Received March 10, 10.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 10.

The strike of Bradford wool-combers is over the question of non-recogni-tion of ta'ades unions. Nine thousand workmen are now out.

The strike is generally peaceful, Irat some men entered the premises •of their employers and stopped the machinery. A conference of masters and men agreed to submit settlement^ proposals to their principals, and in the «venfc of continued disagreement to refer the dispute for arbitration to the Lord Mayor of Bradford. The Daily Telegraph states that unless the strife© terminates speedily the ■whole worsted industry will be disorganised. Stocks of tops are scarce, and many firms' deliveries are behindhand.
