' A close finish. Time, 3min I*3-5 sec. Gressy Welter: Sharpshooter 1, Tawhaki 2, Miss Mischief 3. Won by a head. Time, lmin,l6 2-5 sec. Seymour Handicap: Gunboat 1, Vologda 2, Dolce 3. Won by two lengths^ Time, lmin 16sec. Scratched Wet day. Members' Handicap: Gold Lace 1, Penates 2, Valdimar 3. Scratched: Gold Thread and .Gunboat. Penates was in front on turning for homo, but Gold Lace drew out at the distance and won easily by a length, half a length between second and third. Master Soult and Full Sail were next. Time, Intin 28 1-5 sec. Pioneer Hurdles: Formeden 1, Martyre 2, Lord Kelvin 3. Scratched : Master Laddo. Won by a head. Stead Memorial Handicap: Bobrikoff 1, Ingoda 2, Ringdove 3. Won easily. Time, 2inin 7 2-5 sec. Randolph Handicap: Naumai 1, Broadsword 2, Multiple 3. Won by two lengths. Also started: Perle dOr, Los Angelos, St. Bill, Thistledown, Sweet Angelus, Silkweb, Mundic, Dolce, Cerise and Blue. Fendalton Handicap: Aberbrqthock 1, Prim 2. Roosevelt 3. Also started: Lady Lucy, Sandstream Oipoi, Kilwinning, Stratagem, Chief Lochiel. King Post, Tikitere, Chanteuse, Boutade, Guianforte, Ambrosian, Dabchick, Ristori and Pretty Nell. Won by two lengths. The amount put through the totalisator was £22,471.
