Sir Joseph Ward, in answer to a question put by a reporter to-day, declined to express any opinion upon the probable duration of the session. He stated, however, that Members of Parliament were all working very well, and though there were a number of important proposals to be dealt with by the House he. had no> intention of attempting to drive or force things through, as he recognised that sufficient time should be allowed for consideration of and deliberation upon the different questions.
