At the final meeting of the Picton Jubilee Celebrations Coiumittee on Thursday evening (reports the Press) the treasurer (Mr C. D. Stuart) submitted, a balance-sheet, showing that the receipts amounted to £82; lls sd ; and the expenditure to £63 14s 4d, leaving a balance in hand of £18 17s Id. He stated that the Finance Committee /ecommended that a bonus of £5 sst should be voted to the secretary (Mr H. Simmonds), and that a deficiency of £4 13s in. connection with the.
