WELLINGTON, Aug. 18. In the Supreme Court to-day, Albert Charles a young man, charged with.the theft of a hjorse, set up the plea ihat he was not responsible for his '.'actions. It was stated that he was the son of first cousins, and had been responsible for strange conduct at times, but had no criminal intent. The jury found him guilty,, with a recommendation to mercy. Sentence was deferred.
