A Christehurcli telegram states that at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Alliance the report stated that the majority- at the last election in the whole country for no-license was 33,331. The vote increased from 198,768 to 221,471. The balancesheet showed a balance of £63 of income over expenditure, and , the assets were £236. Mr Wesley Spragg, of Auckland, was re-elected president.
