LETTERS AND LETTER CARDS. Letters within New Zealand, Id for the first 4oz or fration thereof, and id for each succeeding 2o^a or fraction thereof. . As a means of enabling the sender of a letter addressed to a place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issues reply coupons on payment of a fee of 3d. These coupons may be exchanged for a postage stamp of the value of 2id in any country which adopts the scheme. I PARCEL POST. Maxmum weight, Illb : greatest length, 3ft 6in ; greatest length and girth combined, 6ft. Inland, 4d for first lb, and 2d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof.. United Kingdom, not exceeding Sib, Is ; not exceeding 71b, 2s ; not exceeding lllbj 3s. Australian States, 8d for first lb, and 6d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof up to Illb.
