SPEECH BY MR HALDANE. [press association.] (Received June 15, 10 p.m.) LONDON, June 15. Mr Haldane, speaking at the Borderers' banquet in London, said that the impression made on the press delegates was one of relief at the extent to which Army problems had been solved. The fleet stood first m order of necessity, and Army organisation was essential in order to make the fleet effective.. _ The Dominions were now recognising that their future depended upon the Empire's defence as a whole.
