An Auckland telegram states that in the senior football matches on Saturday Ponsonby (17) defeated City (7); Graf ton (16) defeated University (3), and North Shore (6) defeated Parnell (3). In Wellington, Oriental (19) beat Mcl rose (8); Petone (22) beat Wellington (7); Old Boys (14) beat Southern (0); Athletic (0) drew with St. James (0); Poneke (14) beat Victoria College (5). In Christchureh Albion (17) beat Old Boys (11); Sydenham (13) beat Christchurch (3); Merivale (28) beat College (nil). The Dunedin results were, Alhambra (16) beat University (3); Southern (3) beat Taieri Rovers (nil); Zingari-Rich-mond (21) beat Pirates (nil); Dunedin (10) beat Port Chalmers (3); Kaikorai (8) beat Union (nil).
