Zealanders by 27 points to 18. i In the; first half of the game the local men had all J-he best of it,' the visitors securing a penalty goal and a try against 14 points by their opponents. In the second half the Metropolitans had the advantage for a considerable time, when the blacks got in some hot play, scoring several times in quick succession, the whistle sounding when the scores stood: Metropolitans 27, New Zealanders 18.
