DEATH FROM SHOCK

DUNEDIN, May 19. - William Champion, aged 42, who "had been ill, whilst suffering from a fit of delirium, rushed out of the house this morning and jumped over a T)ank, badly dislocating one of liis knees. Two doctors attended. him and administered a little chloroform, which Champion did not take well and was avowed to come out of its influence. 1 The knee was set without an anaesthetic. Champion died shortly afterwards, it is supposed from shock.
