Cullen'gave evidence for. the prosecution, covering the ground of the evidence given in the previous trial; also George Brown, painter, of Westpoct, who identified the knife and pipe as tho^e.of -burke. Dr. Simpson (IVestport) also gave evidence regarding the condition of Surke's body.
