RIFLE SHOOTING.
-BLENHEIM D.R.C. v. SEDDON
D.R.C
On Saturday afternoon a team of i the Seddon Defence Rifle Club visit- ; ed the' Blenheim rifle range to try : conclusions with a team of the local Rifle Club. The weather was de- ] cidedly unpleasant, a' troublesome and cold south-east wind prevailing, i and the light, at all times variable, was simply wretched at the finish, I which in a measure accounts for some of the poor scores at the larger range. However, an enjoyable and! exciting ' match resulted in a win for the local! shootists by a narrow margin. The j conditions were seven shots and a i sighter at 200 yards and 500 yards. Following are the scores: —
