' At the London wool sales the Matahui clip realised 10§d, and Omarama lOfd. The butter market is firm. Danish 110s to 112s. New Zealand and Australian cleared at late rates. There is better inquiry for stored, which is very firm, New Zealand selling at 64s to 675.

At the kauri gum sales 700 cases were offered and 137 sold. Bush was slightly dearer; other sorts were unchanged. ■
