, WAITOHI v. CENTRAL B. Waitohi (who did not arrive until a quarter to four) won by three tries— all scored by R. -Whiting—td onesecured by S< Haines. Mr G. Ma'rtella referred, but his decisions did not | give satisfaction to the losers, some of whom made a, hostile demonstration at the conclusion of the game; It is to be hoped that an example will vbe kmade of these. Before _ any more matches are 'played on this ground— the eastern end of the A. and P. grounds—the touch-lines should be clearly marked. MOUTERE v. CENTRAL A.

Moutere, on their own ground, easily accounted for Central A, who took out only eleven men. Tries were scored by A. Neal, Christopher and McDonald; E.Neal converted two*, of them, and also kicked a goal from the field. Mr N. Fisk was referee.

OPAWA v. AWATERE. When the Opawa team arrived at the Domain they found a notice stating that the; match had been postponed, presumably because the train arrangements did not suit the country players. , ■'
