BOY KILLED BY AN EXPLOSION.
O AMARU, Mas 37. Thos. Cuff, aged 11, was killed by an explosion of acetylene gas on. Saturday. He was playing with other boys in a tent occupied by Jones's buckjurnping company, i-i>d struck a match to examine a tin containing dry carbide. An explosion followed, and the top of the tin was driven into-the lad's head. Death was instantaneous.
