\ [press association.] (Received May 14, 5 p.m-> LONDON, May 14. After luncheon yesterday the weather became brighter, and the attendance increased to 7000. Ransford's innings lasted ' 195 minutes. He hit seven fourers. When he lo»t Mis wicket he had caught Bardsley, both scores .standing at 174. Bardsley was 265 minutes at the wickets. His score included 22 fourers. He gave a glorious display of superb timing. He got out through attempting a run for Trumper, who went back and sent him back. Bardsley slipped down in the middle of the pitch, and was easily run out. Trumper played for 69 minutes, and hit 9 fourers. The fourth wicket fell at 483, the fifth at 489, and the sixth at 510.
