.The Daily Mail's Salonika correspondent reports that Talaat Bey, ■vice-president of the* Chamber, secured Abclul Hainid's signature to the withdrawal of funds from foreign banks.

Some reports mention the transfer of £2,000,000. Talaat failed to obtain the keys of two strong-rooms at Yildiz. The officers guarding the residence at Salonika thereupon compelled Abdul Hamid to surrender the keys.
