AN UNSATISFACTORY TOUR.

WELLINGTON, May 14. The annual meeting of the New; Zealand Rugby Union Avas characterised by some brisk discussion on the doings of the British team. In legalexpenses they had cost £342, partly v for .the -expense' of. a lawsuit at v Masterton, and partly for the cost # of an action, brought against the Union.for damages hi respect of the sale of programmes. The speakers denounced the extravagance shown in the payments, and criticised the items, as well as the poor calibre of the team. The Union committee were also' blamed for not carrying out the altered rules, and were accused of being hostile to them. It was stated that Queensland had already altered tha rules.
