AN EMINENT CHEMIST. . * AFTER SEARCHING ANALYSIS AND TESTS, GIVES ZAM-BUK GREAT PRAISE. The excellence of Zam-Buk from a scientific standpoint is seen from the following exhaustive report by one of England's greatest analysts, Mr W. Lascelles-Scott, Lecturer on Chemistry and Hygiene to the London Conservatoire, etc. This eminent gentleman certifies as follows: — " I have chemically analysed, and have examined in other ways, the unguent preparation known as 'ZamEuk,' samples for analysis having been obtained from both the makers direct, and also by independent retail purchases in Birmingham, Worcester, Bradford, and Wakefield, as well as in certain Metropolitan districts. Zam-Buk is a balsamic ointment of agreeable, aromatic odour, and of the consistence of firm butter at average atmospheric temperatures. " Zam-Buk being exclusively of vegetable origin, contains none of the impure mineral drugs and animal fats present in less-carefully prepared ointments. The antiseptic powers of this preparation are proved by my bacteriological tests to. exceed those of the caustic carbolic acid of commerce, yet Zam-Buk neither cauterises nor inflames even a very sensitive skin. Moreover, the astringent and balsamic constituents render Zam-Buk an emollient of great healing power. I have no hesitation in certifying the entire purity of ZamBuk, which, in my opinion, is well adapted for superficial injuries and prevalent skin disorders. The opinion of this distinguished analytical chemist coincides with the opinion, of the Australasian public, who have proved from practical experience that Zam-Buk is the world's one great and only perfect healer and jsldn-cure.
