DESTRUCTION BY FIRE.

WELLINGTON, May 12
The largest building in Miramar, •owned by E. C. Peers and occupied by James Patterson, storekeeper, was destroyed by fire last night. A strong wind was blowing. Only a few articles ■of furniture were saved. The building and stock are believed to have been Insured.
