GIVE UP ALTOGETHER.

Had to give up is very far reaching in its meaning sometimes, and generally includes in its influence others than the one affected. When the head of the house has to give up, every member of the family feels its weight. When giving up is on account of lame back, which is lame kidneys, we are miserable indeed.
