SUICIDE BY POISONING.
GIRL TIKES PHOSPHORUS
[PKESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, May 11. A girl named Elizabeth (Greenwood, daughter of a farmer at Panmure, took* some pliosphorus after a quarrel with her stepmother. She was also a witness am the Supreme Court, and this affected her. She did not die immediately, -and was about for some days, no one, apparently, believing that she had really poisoned A doctor Avas ultimately called in, but too late. He said that had he been summoned oearlier Hie might have done something. A veitdict was returned accordingly.
