PERTH, April 19. The annual meeting of the West Australian Alliance adopted the report of the secretary. It condemned the report of Mr Carson, the special commissioner, on the ground that he did not interview the heads of the temperance party in New Zealand. Mr Carson, in a letter to the press, stated that he discussed the liqiior question at considerable length with the Rev. Mr Isitfc, secretary of the New Zealand Alliance, while the only person connected with the liquor trade whom he interviewed was Mr Williams, secretary of the Licensed Victuallers' Association.
