ON A CHARGE OF SHELTERING REBELS.
A COSTLY TRIAL.
[press association.] (Received March 4> 11.45 p.m.) DURBAN, March 4. After a trial lasting seventy days, with one hundred and fifty native witnesses, and expenses of the prosecution amounting to £10,000, Dinizulu was found guilty of sheltering Bambaafca, Mangati, and other rebels, but not guilty of inciting to rebellion. He was sentenced to four years' imprisonment, dating from the time of his arrest, and a fine of £luUO.
