I omitted to mention in my letter "to-day-'that there was a fair attendance, at the Town Hall on Saturday night to hear Mr Duncan commence his electoral campaign for the Wairau seat. After outlining his policy, being heckled with the usual fire of questions, the meeting closed with a vote of thanks and confidence in his candidature.

A Committee was formed, Mr W Price being Chairman and Mr A Reade Secretary.

We are having lovely weather just now, and hope it will continue for the opening of the tennis and croquet season on Thursday next.
