(Received Oct. 18, 4.20 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, Oct. 17. Twenty experienced gendarmerie* officers from Salonika have been summoned to Constantinople to do polica duty, owing to the untrustwortniness of Yildia troops on the occasion of tha lynching of the gardener, and to prevent a recurrence of disorder.

Fifteen lynchers have been arrested.
