The Times deprecates the mistake' committed by the promoters' of the Roman, Catholic procession in disregarding the statute—a mistake which! is not conducive to the success of thq! cause they have at heart.
The paper adds: "Lily and Wallis, the Roman Catholic lawyers, in their, manual of the Jaw affecting Catholics, show that Catholic rites, ceremonies and vestments are restricted to places of worship."
