Throu lads of sixteen and seventeen—Stark, Hicks and Brandon—have boon experimenting tor two years in wireless telegraphy, and after many failures have fitted up three stations round the harbour, •from which messages at last have heen successfully transmitted. Last evening a number of messages wore, flashed across these points caw. then sent to tfc'o Prime Minister and Parliament. The operations were supervised by two of, the telegraph staff, and watched by a number of citizens, all of whom speak highly of the work. Tha messages went at the rate of five or pis words per minute. An appreciative reply was received from Sir Joseph Ward.
