Sir, —Kindly allow me, through your columns, to acknowledge, with many thanks, receipt of the following further subscriptions to the fund T. am raising for Caldeck, the composer of the tune of the above beautiful hymn, who is penniless and in sad distress just now:—A.M. 2s 6d, C. C. Os, Warkworth Is 6d, Patience and Don 2s, Sympathiser (Masterton) 10s, Mrs G.E.C. 2s 6d, C.V.B. 10s, Mother 20s A.P.D. 2s 6d; total £2 16s, This amount, less 3s 4d for exposes paid, I forwarded to London on September 3, making a total net amount sent to date of £19 10s Bd.
