The wedding cake, ,was a wonderful erection on a silver; ■ pedestal stand, three s+orey3 high. The piping was particularly well done, and was the work of Mrs Daniels, the cake beim; made by Mr Daniels.,, baker, of Maxwell Road. The lower storey was designed in lace and cord, surmounted with a clasp of hands, the centre was ornamented with doves in nest and wedding bells, and the top storey was crowned with a basket of flowers.
