The application of .Nihi Rawhiti to succeed to the estates of Heni Hineahi was further dealt with; yesterday, and lasted all th© morning. Messrs Budge and McDonald called 3f ere Arthur and Heni Keepa in support of the. claims of their clients. The Court tffen adjourned for luncneon, and on resuming at 2 p.m. gave a decision that the claim of Nihi Rawhiti as an adopted child ("Tamaiti, Whangai") had not been established. The Judge then called on Messrs Budge and .'McDonald for evidence in support of the claims of their clients, who claim as next of kin ("Whanaungatata") of deceased. Mr Baillie stated that he and Mr Tahura Tahuraroa .appeared on behalf of Maikara Parete Teira, of Waitara, who claims) as an adopted child of deceased. The case is still proceeding. The case for partition of Waikawa West Block was decided. Mr Upham appeared on behalf of the applicants, Mr John Heberley senr. and others. Mr Baillie appeared on behalf of Ani Enoka (Mrs Hector Love), and asked that a certain area be cut off for her. Mr Upham consented, and the Court made an order accordingly. Mr Upham proceeded further'with the Yellaton Run case, which is being proceeded with to-day. Some natives from the North Island arriyed last evening.
