"I [PRESS, ASSOCIATION.] (Received July 18, 8.2 a.m.) s LONDON, July 17. The Master of the Rolls has upheld! the Great Western Railway signalmen's claim to submit to the Conciliation. Board the items of the national programme prepared at the Birmingham Conference; hence the various Boards must meet to discuss the signalmen's demand for an eight-hours* day, single booking for day work, time anda-quarter for overtime on week days, time and a-half for' Sundays, «pd an increase in the wages of those not receiving eight hours and in tho case of London workers.
