As a means of enabling the sender of a letter- addressed to a place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issues reply coupons on payment of a fee of 3d. These coupons may be exchanged for a postage stamp of the value of 2§d in any country which adopts the scheme. REGISTRATION. Universal fee of 2d to all places. The sender of a registered article may obtain acknowledgment of its due receipt on payment in advance of 2£d. PARCEL POST. Maxmum weight, llib ; greatest length, 3ft 6in ; greatest length and girth combined, 6ft. Inland, 4d for first lb, and 2d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof. United Kingdom, not exceeding 31b, Is ; not exceeding 71b, 2s ; not exceeding 111b, 3s. Australian States, 8d for fir&fc lb, and 6d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof up to 111b.
