FIELD FIRING COMPETITION.
The following will represent the Tua Marina DIR.C. at the field firing competition to,be held on the Vernon range, on Wednesday next, 3rd June: —Messrs J. Law, J. Neal, T. Davies; W. Botham, W. Smith, A. Soper, H. Cheesman, F. W. Soper, R. Hall, H. Neal, J. Cheeuman, E. Middlemiss, F. Drake. A. E. Wilkins, W. Patchc-tt, P- G. Williams, A. R. Boyce ; emergencies, R. Cresswell and H. Ctifchbertson.
The- following team will represent tHe Mounted Rifles in the field firing competition on Wednesday next, June 3rd, at 1 p.m. sharp:—Messrs Soper, Robinson, Watson, Stace, James, Nicholas, Gane, Drew, Gibson (2). The following will represent the Blenheim Rifles in the field firing competition at Vernon on Wednesday next, commencing at 1 p.m.: —A team: Major, Rogers, Lieut. o'Sullivan, Col.-Sergt. .Hadfield, Sergt. Hadfield, Privates Harding, Morrison, Taylor and Holdaway. B team: Lieut. Rogers, Sergt. Hammond, Sergt. Jordan, Privates Robertson, J. and A. Hadfield, Broadmore, Lucas, Jellyman, Paton, W. Taylor.
