, OPAWA (12) v. CENTRAL (9). : Opawa gained four tries—scored by Maxted, Gridley (2) and Fawcett---to a try and two penalty goals (all the work of Hale) on the Central side. The game was more strenuous than scientific, and often hard work was nullified through the players riot knowing what to do when they should have done it.
