TAMPERING WITH CHEQUES
[press association.J ELTHAM, May 9. Fredk. Percy Pilcher, a youth who on Wednesday pleaded guilty to altering a cheque from £1 10s to £10 10s and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence, to-day pleaded guilty to the further forgery of a cheque from £1 12s/ 6d to £4 12s 6d, and was committed for sentence. - ' v A charge against the same accused of stealing £10 was adjourned till Wednesday.
