STOCK SALE. Dalgety and Company report on their fortnightly stock sale held at Seddon. Their yarding consisted of 900 sheep and 27 rams. Prices were again very low and the sale for store ewes and lambs was a drag. They, however, sold all sheep offered, and most of the rams. There were some nice pens of fat wethers and^ewes offered, which were keenly competed for. ' . . ■. ■• :/- Prices were as follows: Fat wethers 12s, 4d to 13s Id, fat ewes 10s, 2-tooth to full mouth ewes 6s 2d, aged ewes lid to 3s, merino ewes lOd, forward lambs 7s Id to 7s 3d, 19 English Leicester rams, 2-tooth to 6-tooth, 10s to £1 Is, fat heifer £5.

The New Zealand Loan and Mei-can-tile Agency Company report on the stock sale at Seddon yesterday, their entry consisting of fat wethers and lambs and store ewes and lambs, all of which were disposed of, with the exception of a small line of backward lambs and some merino ewes. The attendance was good, but bidding being slack would evidence that the majority were present 7 to ascertain the state of the market and not as buyers. The following prices were realised:—Pat wethers, 12s 6d; lambs, 11s 6d; store ewes, half-bred, 2-tooth, 8s od; half and three-quarter-^bred, four and five years, & 8d; aged Is sd-three-quarter-bred ewe lambs 6s idwether lambs ss; dry cows, £3 10ssteers^ 2 years, £3 7s 6d; ' eighteenmonths, £2; yearlings, 30s.
