EASTER HOLIDAYS.

POST OFFICE. Good Friday, the 17th instant, will be observed as a close holiday at all Post Offices in the district. Mails for despatch on that day will close at 7.15 p.m. on Thursday. A delivery of letters, usually delivered by letter-car-

riers will take place over the public counter between 8 and 9 p.m. on Thursday, the 16th, and Saturday, the 18th instants., On Easter Monday there will he no delivery by the letter-carriers. On Thursday, the 16th instant, all receiving-boxes in the town • will be cleared at 6 p.m. ! Easter Monday:—Post Offices will be open in all branches (except money order and savings bank) between 9 and 10 a.m. Early mails will close as usual, but all other mails will close at 8 a.m. TELEGRAPH OFFICE. Good Friday: Open from 9.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 to 5.30 p.m., side entrance upstairs. Easter Monday : The public office will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Between the hours'of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 7 p>m. and midnight telegrams for transmission should be presented at the side entrance upstairs. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE. Good Friday : Open from 9 to 10 a.m. only; Easter Monday: Open from 8 a.m> to midnight.
