WHEAT AND POTATO MARKETS.

[PKOM OXTE CORBESPONPENT,]

CHRISTCHURCH; April 14. A telegram from Dunedin states that the wheat market is dull. Millers are holding off, in anticipation of a reduction in the price of flour on account of Australian supplies. Holders, however, are firm ,\ and not disposea to accept prices less than they are now getting. The market has been bare of potatoes, and there was an improved demand yesterday. Up-to-Dates sold at £4 os per ton, and Derwents up to £4' 10s. The reason for the improvement was the rain last week, which stopped digging operations.
