The Daily Mail states that the body; found at Goring was that of Mrs Dolly Scott Harden, reported to be the wife of a Sydney solicitor.

A friend of hers says that she tried but failed to earn a living by her pen or the stage. She took morphia to relieve acute neuralgia. The friend received a letter from her on May; 9th,.stating that she intended to commit suicide, as she was terribly pressed, and reluctant to live upon the charity of her friends.
