SEDDON STOCK SALE.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report holding their fortnightly stock sale at Seddon yesterday. There was a fair yarding of sheep, all fats, and the attendance was good considering that harvesting is in full swing. Store wethers are not yet coming Forward, owing, no doubt, to the dry time being experienced and no outside buyers operating. Prices ruled as follows: — Fat lambs, 10s 6d to 12s Id; fat 4tooth wethers; 13s; fat ewes, 9s to 10s lid, lls, and lls Id; ewes and wethers, mixed, 13s.
