THE TERALBA STRIKE.

COURT UPHOLDS THE OWNERS.

MEW ADVISED T6 RESUME

[press association ."\ i (Received Jan. 8, 9.38 p.m.)

SYDNEY, Jan. 8,

The special Court found tKat the ?men of the Teralba mines had, by leaving work, broken the agreement under which the special Court was constituted, and thereby justified the proprietors iti''withdrawing from the Court if they so desired.

Mr Bowling, the miners' representative in the Court, considered that the men might have committed a technical breach, but morally, he said, they were right. The representative of the proprietors announced that the latter desired to abide by the agreement. If the Teralba men would return to work and let the matter come before the Court, the proprietors would not withdraw from the Court. On the application of the miners' advocate, the Court adjourned till tomorrow to allow the Miners' Federation an opportunity to advise the strikers to resume work.

The miners' committee of management subsequently met, and advised the resumption of work.
